What is the Contributor Revenue Share Report?

This tool allows you to assign revenue share percentages to each contributor of a track. In other words, it enables you to define what percentage of royalties each artist linked to a track will receive. The report provides a detailed breakdown of sales reports and helps determine the total amount corresponding to each contributor.

This feature is designed to offer end-users a revenue share split for the contributors (artists) currently identified in the system for each track created within the user's account. In the “Catalog” section, users can define the revenue percentages that each contributor will receive for a track. The intuitive interface ensures that the percentages always total 100%.

Considerations

  • The use and management of reports is intended for registered users on the platform, who are the creators of the content to which the respective percentage is assigned.
  • The contributor share report only reflects the mechanical and neighboring rights collected by Omziki. It does not include other rights, such as composer or publisher rights, which we currently do not collect or allocate.
  • This feature is designed to offer a revenue split for contributors currently identified in the system.

How to Set Up and Obtain Contributor Revenue Share Reports

To start downloading these reports on your platform, follow these steps:

  1. Log in from a user account: Reports can only be set up and downloaded from a user account. The percentage allocation applies to the artists linked to a track created by the user.

  2. Assigning Contributions: Navigate to the “Catalog” section and select the track for which you want to define the contributors’ shares. Then, in the “Track Info” tab, you can specify the corresponding percentages. These revenue distribution percentages can be adjusted as needed.

  3. Generating Reports: Go to the “Royalties” section and select the “Contributor Share” tab. From the “Preview” tab, select the month you wish to review, and check the details before generating the report.

  4. Downloading Reports: Once requested, you can download the report from the “Reports” tab in the same section.
