As the channels are the ones to automatically assign releases to their artists’ profiles when a release is distributed it can happen to be assigned to an incorrect Artist Profile. It also can happen that the channel creates a new artist profile instead, while a previous one already exists.
This issue happens with Artist Profiles with identical or similar names, as channels create and organize them automatically.
In case you have experienced this situation, we can contact them in order to request the channel to fix it. Depending on the type of change and the channel, here below you can find how to submit your request.
Some channels have enabled the option to request a new profile from their platform or app, while some others need to be reached through SonoSuite.
To request a new profile for Spotify please use this form. Once your profile has been created, you will be able to fix the problem by updating the artist information on the platform.
You can find more information here.
To request a new profile for Amazon please download the app Amazon Music for Artists.
Log in and click on “Report a problem” to ask for the modification.
To request a new profile for Apple Music please contact support@omziki.com.

If the end-user already has an artist profile, depending on the channel it can be asked in different ways.
For Spotify, Apple and Soundcloud, the end-user must request it through the platform by updating their artist ID. Please beware that apart from adding the information in the Artist ID section, a release update request from the SonoSuite platform is needed.
For all the other channels, please provide the information in the prior form.
Please, take into account that it can take up to 15 days for the channels to process these kinds of requests.
