Did SonoSuite Make a Copyright Claim on Your Music in YouTube? 1 0

Omziki offers an optional YouTube Content ID delivery. When you opt in, we'll add your audio to YouTube's Content ID system, which scours YouTube for videos that use your music. When a match is found, ads play on the video, and you'll get ad revenue.

If you upload or have a video on YouTube that uses your own music, you may receive a copyright claim notification from YouTube. In most cases, the claim will be issued via SonoSuite on behalf of your added label.

This is nothing to worry about, SonoSuite is the engine that helps power Omziki's "YouTube Content ID" feature. The email is YouTube's Content ID system working correctly and notifying you that ads will be run on your video.

💡 What does this mean?

When a claim is placed:

  • Ads may be shown on your video
  • The video is still safe and remains online
  • The system is tracking usage of your music

💰 What happens to the money?

Any ad revenue generated from these claims is collected through YouTube Content ID and then credited to your Omziki account, where it is reflected as royalties for your music.

⚠️ Important Note

This is an automated process. It is not a Strike. It does not mean your content is being penalized or removed — it only means your music has been recognized by the Content ID system.
